Mali President amazed by the mighty Vic falls

Mali President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, who has been in the country on a three day state visit, says he is impressed with the majestic Victoria Falls as a tourist attraction.

President Keita, who left Harare today, passed through  the resort town of Victoria Falls enroute to Mali.

President Keita arrived in Victoria Falls in the company of his wife Keita Aminata Maiga, Mali government officials and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cde Simbarashe Mumbengegwi. READ MORE AFTER THE CUT


He was met on arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport by the Minister of State for Matabeleland North Province, Ambassador Cain Mathema, Zanu PF leadership and other senior government officials.

Soon after his arrival, he was treated to a boat cruise on the Zambezi River before concluding his short visit with a tour of the rain forest. ZBC News
