Zaoga elder found dead at prostitute's house

A MARRIED Zaoga elder from Masvingo’s Mucheke suburb was found dead at a suspected sex worker’s house, a few minutes after the two had quality time together.

Acting Masvingo police spokesperson Assistant Nkululeko Nduna said the incident occurred on Monday.

Gifford Mudondo (67) was found dead at Maida Chin’anga’s bedroom on the bed with his trousers on the floor and police were alerted of the incident which they attended to where upon arrival they collected Mudondo’s body from the woman’s bedroom.

They were claims that  Mudondo had gone to the woman’s house to place orders since she is a tailor but could not explain how he ended up in the bedroom, let alone on a bed and naked.

After the incident, Chin’anga confided in her friends within the same location on what had transpired and one of them advised her to report to the police.

Police attended the scene and removed the body from the bedroom before conveying it to Masvingo General Hospital mortuary for a postmortem. Sunday News
