LOCAL comedy lovers will have to part with $30 and $20 for the VIP and ordinary tickets, respectively, for a rare, one-off date with top Ugandan comedian Anne Kansiime as she courts laughter through her antics in a show scheduled for 7 Arts Theatre on November 14.
Show organisers Xtratime Entertainment spokesperson Tonderai Mwaita confirmed the show, saying Kansiime would be supported by the cream of local comedians, Carl Joshua Ncube and Doc Vikela.
“The show is in November and we have chosen Kansiime since she is regarded as the Queen of comedy in Africa and has more than one million [Facebook] followers, so we thought that she might be an attractive prospect for [local] comedy lovers,” Mwaita said.
