AS the embarrassing Zifa bungling circus continues, the visiting Guinea national football team almost hired an 18 seater commuter omnibus after they arrived at the Harare International Airport with no official in sight to welcome them let alone transport to ferry them to their hotel.

The West Africans who arrived in the country for a crucial Group L Afcon qualifier were made to wait for over two and a half hours before a school bus belonging to a local college came to fetch then.

The substandard bus sent by local governing body arrived just in the nick of time before a kombi hired by the disgruntled delegation took off with the first batch of players of players and officials.

An irate Guinea coach Luis Fernandez refused to entertain the media after the debacle.

“After all the harassment by the immigration officials and this treatment by your association I don’t even want to speak to the media. I can only speak to the media tomorrow,” said the French speaking gaffer said through an interpreter.
