"Yes we can confirm that salaries have come through as promised by government but we have issues that need attention considering that the 7.5 percent pension deduction was imposed unilaterally without consultations.

we are meeting with government officials tomorrow to have a better understanding on the developments and how the challenges facing civil servants can be addressed," he said.

The Apex Council is the umbrella body for civil servants’ labour organisations including the Zimbabwe Teachers Association (ZIMTA), Progressive Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (PTUZ), Public Service Association (PSA) and the College Lecturers Association of Zimbabwe. ZBC News
