Jay Z and Rita Ora at loggerheads over contractual obligations

Rumors are rampant again that Jay Z has stepped out on his powerhouse wife Beyoncé, this time with singer Rita Ora.

The conflict with Ora is nothing new, however.

The blond bombshell singer filed a complaint against Roc Nation, Jay Z’s label, in Los Angeles Superior Court back in December, asking that her recording contract be voided. According to People, Ora is claiming that the contract is in violation of California law and not enforceable because of something called the “seven-year rule.”

Court papers say, according to the national magazine, that “her relationship with Roc Nation is irrevocably damaged.”

Meanwhile, Jay Z and Roc Nation have been quiet on the lawsuit. However, word on the street and buzzing on many celebrity gossip sites is that Ora is prepared to use “secrets” as leverage to get released from her Roc Nation contract.

It’s unclear what “secrets” Ora may have, but it’s actually no secret that she allegedly slept with Jay Z. That story came out back in 2012.

Ora has reportedly made the rounds with male celebrities… she has been linked in the past to Rob Kardashian, Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa. 

Adding fuel to the fire… word from gossip site Perez Hilton is that super star Rihanna is not a fan of Ora, and that Rihanna actually gets first choice on songs that come to Roc Nation.

FYI, Ora has only had one album released in the last seven years.
