Superstar Oliver Mtukudzi says his 65th album will be of superior quality. Titled Eheka nhai yahwe the 10 track album will be officially released at his arts centre-Pakare Paye on September 22.
Tracks on the album include Chori nevamwe, Bhiza ramudhara, Pabodzi, Kusaterera, Dzikama, Dzivirira, Hadzivake, Hunapwa, Hadzivake and Haasi masanga featuring his wife Daisy.
The album title (Eheka nhai yahwe) means “enjoy my dear friends” said Oliver Mtukudzi.
“Album rinonakidza zvikuru, it’s a 10 track album that features my wife Daisy on a song titled Haasi masanga. “That is the only collaboration that features on the album,” he said.
He also said the album has been ready for release since the last two months. “Album rave ne two months rakongomira kubuda, it has been ready since then,” he added.
He also spoke highly about his collaboration with DJ Stavo on Mwedzi Muchena, a song that is currently getting good airplay on various radio stations in and out of Zimbabwe.
