'It was not my first time to have sex,' girl (12) tells court

A 12 year old Figtree girl who was raped by a herdboy stunned a court when she boldly said she was used to sex and felt no pain during the rape.

The grade 7 pupil said her 23 year old rapist did not last long ‘on top of her'. She added that she once had sex in a garden.

"It was not my first time to have sex as I once had it with someone in the garden. "During and after the act I felt no pain since the accused did not last long while on top of me," said the girl.

The court heard that on May 4 this year, she had gone to fetch water at a neighbours homestead were the accused was employed as a herdboy. Upon arrival she found the accused alone and he later called her into his bedroom.

The girl reportedly went into the bedroom where the accused undressed her before forcing her to lie on his bed while facing upwards.

He briefly raped her and later threatened her not  to tell anyone.

But some neighbour's saw her emerging from the rapist bedroom and alerted her aunt who quizzed her. The accused is in custody and would appear in court on July 14. Byo24
