According to Dailymail, Rapper T.I. owes the federal government more than $4.5 million in unpaid taxes - and now Uncle Sam is coming after the rapper's property and assets to collect on the millions he owes them.
According to documents obtained by Daily Mail Online, filed earlier this month in Georgia ... the IRS filed 2 tax liens against T.I. - aka Clifford Harris - for unpaid taxes for 2012 and 2013.
The first federal tax lien - filed against T.I. along with his wife Tameka Cottle - states the rapper owes a total of $1,397,283.47 in unpaid taxes for the year 2012.
The Feds filed a second lien which demands a total of $3,173,476.39 for taxes on his personal income for the year 2013. The grand total: $4,570,759.86.
That should be chump change for the 34-year-old rapper, whose wealth has been estimated to be as much as $215 million.
According to People with Money magazine he was one of the top ten highest paid rappers for 2015 with an estimated combined earning of $75 million.
T.I. was once known as Rubber Band Man, a reference to the custom of wearing rubber bands around the wrist to denote wealth.
