Zimbabwean actress and model, Sibo Mlambo has landed a leading role in Universal’s sequel “Honey 3.”
The film will be set in South Africa. Mlambo will play Ishani Magona, a street-tough Cape Town local who never backs down from a fight — or a dance battle. Using hints of Kwaito, Ishani’s moves are as aggressive and powerful as she is.
Still reeling from the loss of her brother, Ishani has a hardened exterior and doesn’t take too kindly to an outsider named Malea.
However, when Malea asks her to choreograph a production of “Romeo and Juliet,” Ishani rediscovers her passion for creativity and the two form an unlikely partnership.”
Sibo lives in South Africa. She has studied in the United States and has several films under her belt.
