CONTROVERSIAL dancer Beverly Sibanda has come under fire for failing to pay US$72 for lingerie she purchased on credit from a cross border trader.
H-Metro heard that Bev took outfits, which included jumpsuits and lingerie for herself and Se_xy Angels group promising to pay in a month’s time.
The cross-border trader identified as Bridget said she has been frequenting Bev’s shows to recover her money but to no avail.
“Bev took some outfits from me and she is failing to pay. I don’t have a shop but I go around looking for orders and do deliveries.
“So we had a deal and she took jumpsuits and lingerie worth US$72 and promised to pay me last month but she is failing.
“She has since blocked me and I can’t even communicate with her now,” said Bridget. “I didn’t expect that from her and it’s now two months and I am yet to receive my money and I tried everything to recover my money.”
Bev’s manager Harpers Mapimhidze confirmed that they are failing to pay the money for the outfits they are using on stage at their shows.
Harpers, however, said the woman has been threatening to tarnish his artiste’s image in the press, a conduct he described as unprofessional.
“That is not how we operate; she has been threatening to tarnish me and my artiste all these days and has been a nuisance on my phone.
“We will, however, make an arrangement to pay her,” said Harpers.
