Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa’s daughter, Gamuchirai, has rubbished Twitter rumours that her brother has been arrested with $7 million stashed in the boot of his car.
She tweeted : “I’m not even annoyed at the story cause it’s untrue but being a journalist myself it pains me when other journalists do such crappy work. “7 million here amana..I’m sure even Wicknell isn’t worth that much.”
She then posted a picture of her brother and sister in Greendale, Harare.Professor Jonathan Moyo also tweeted : My reliable information is that it’s a naked lie. Young Tino Chinamasa is at home in Harare right now. Dirty tricks!
