Reports that Pastor Evan Mawarire was picked up by cops last night were false. He has just handed himself over at Harare Central Police Station. Mawarire said yesterday that he had been summoned by police for questioning and was handing himself in this morning.
Mawarire remains defiant, insisting that whatever happens to him the stay away set for tomorrow and Thursday must go ahead.
