RAUNCHY dancer Beverley “Bev” Sibanda is set to tour the United Kingdom later this month together with Zim Dancehall chanters Ricky Fire, PTK, Terminator and Seh Calaz.
Her manager Harpers Mapimhidze yesterday confirmed that all was set for the tour, adding that Bev would be the first local dancer to embark on a UK tour.
“I am happy for her and she is set to go to the United Kingdom and as we are speaking, the paperwork is almost done for her to travel, she will leave on the 21st of July” he said.
Bev featured on Ricky Fire’s video, Ndiratidze Zvaunoita. Mapimhidze said the United Kingdom maiden tour was being promoted by TDS Vibes International Promotions and will kick off at the West Indian Centre in Leeds on July 24 before they move to Dunstable Leisure Centre in Luton.
He described the tour as a breakthrough in Bev’s dancing career and he was sure she would enchant her fans in the UK, some of whom he said had been sending messages from there saying they would attend the shows.
“Even though it is her first time to perform in the UK I am very sure that she will steal all the hearts of her fans out there,” Mapimhidze said.
Bev has made headlines with her erotic and raunchy dance routines, which include strip teases. Sometime last year she reportedly converted to Christianity after joining Walter Magaya’s Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries.
However, she was back on the dance floor in less than three months after sharp disagreements with Magaya. Newsaday
