AFRO-Jazz crooner Selmor Mtukudzi has released a debut single track titled Zvidikidiki dedicated to her husband Tendai Manatsa.

Selmor told NewsDay that she would not have made significant strides in the music industry had it not been for the support she gets from Manatsa.

“We have come a long way with Tendai whom I have been married to for the past eight-and-a-half years. The song is a special dedication to him in appreciation of the shoulder he has always given me to lean on through thick and thin,” explained Selmor.

Selmor Mtukudzi provided muisic at Hellenic primary school's Shona cultural day today. The track which runs for 3 minutes and 44 seconds tells of the importance of small actions that are usually underestimated by most men who feel they are frivolous.

Highlighting the importance of care the song goes “Kundibata ruoko, paunotexta uchibvunza kuti ndaswera sei zvidiki izvozvo ndizvo zvinondipengesa.” (When you hold my hand, when you text to find out how my day has been, such little things make me crazy).
