THE rivalry between rap artistes Maskiri and Stunner is far from over after the latter fired shots at Maskiri on the newly-released remix track, They Do Thega, by BlacPerl.

The track features Stunner, Noble Stylz, Trae Yung and dancehall chanter Qounfused.

The Afrimma best male nominee takes a dig at Maskiri: “I am only here for eight lines; this ain’t no Keisha White, saka hatisi kuimba zvemadora.” (This is not about Keisha White, so we are not singing about edible mopani worms).

Musician Stunner took the opportunity to celebrate his birthday.

The lyrics are directed at Maskiri who collaborated with Keisha White on a track titled Afrika where Maskiri boasts of having been the first person ever to have shared mopani worms with Keisha White.

This could be a response to Maskiri’s comments over the Stunner-Mudiwa feud.

The Chibhodhoro hit maker said his hands were clean because he was not one who had started the feud, but Maskiri.

“Maskiri is the one who started it by writing Diana Samkange a song which poked fun at my Rudo rweMari song, and I replied with Team Hombe and after that he has been doing a series of songs attacking me,” Stunner said.

Stunner said he had been in hip hop for 15 years and no one could match him on the local scene because “Stunner is a big project”. Newsday
