18-year-old Harrison Craig has suffered from an extreme stutter his entire life but he’s been able to overcome a lot of challenges through his passion for music.

Judging by his looks, I thought he might go on stage during his blind audition for The Voice Australia with a pop-like sound, but he surprised us all when he starts to sing with a Josh Groban-esque voice.

Harrison made it past the blind auditions with the performance below and went on to win the second season of The Voice Australia.

During the audition below, the most touching moments for me were when he was with his family. When all four judges turn around and praise Harrison for his performance, the camera turns to the backstage and shows his family. His brother is so proud that it brought him to tears… and my eyes immediately began to swell, too.

To see a boy like Harrison who has had many challenges throughout his life put himself out there and achieve his goals is so inspiring!

Share this young man’s incredible display of perseverance if it inspired you!
