JESUS Generation International Ministries founder Prophet Edd Branson married his Finnish girlfriend, who is also a pastor, and a wedding is now set for South Africa this week.
A church member close to Prophet Edd told H-Metro that he was under pressure from congregants.
“We are happy that Prophet finally married and the congregation received it with joy since she is a member of our church.
“I want to believe this marriage meant a lot before God and the ministry and our mothers will now have someone to help take their issues to Prophet.”
Prophet Edd confirmed his marriage to Maria Halme saying she is a pastor and has been in the ministry for some time.

“My wife has been in ministry for some time and she did her theological studies in Israel and I met her during my missions in Finland.
“God gave me the grace to plant churches in Europe for the past six months and I visited 10 countries with her and I strongly believe she is the right partner and is a blessing to me and the ministry.
“Marriage is important to God since it represents Christ being the groom and his church being the bride and after cleansing it with his blood he will present it to his father our God.
“The presentation of the cleansed church to God is that which is represented by wedding and our wedding will be this week in South Africa.
“I want to believe that a lot of people get so obsessed with the wedding to be held in South Africa and the expense of the wedding that they miss out on what the real purpose is. It’s not about a production number, it’s about a meaningful moment between two people that’s witnessed by people they really know and actually care about,” said Prophet Edd.
