Pep Guardiola |
Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola will analyse Manchester United's managerial situation before deciding whether to take the top job at Manchester City next summer.
This has been reported by the Manchester Evening News, who claim that the former Barcelona boss is interested in taking over at Old Trafford when he finally leaves the Bavarians behind.
Guardiola, of course, has been heavily linked with Manuel Pellegrini's job at the Etihad of late, with the same report claiming that he's the Citizens' No.1 target as they go about finding their next manager.
It appears, though, that Guardiola may not move to England's elite division until the summer of 2016, and could yet take over from Louis van Gaal, who will be entering the final year of his contract.
THINGS COULD CHANGE
The report goes on to reveal that Manchester United chiefs may well assess their options next summer as it's not everyday a world-class coach like Guardiola becomes available. www.givemesport.com
