Petr Cech had been granted permission by Chelsea to leave Stamford Bridge as confirmed by his agent, according to Goal.com.
The 32-year-old is interested in getting regular first-team football and has voiced his displeasure of playing a bit-part role being second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois in the Blues' title winning campaign of 2014/15.
Speaking to talkSPORT,Viktor Kolar,the Czech international’s representative,has said,”Petr has a valid contract with his current club,however,I can confirm that we have been permitted by Chelsea to negotiate with interested parties.”
“Petr has confirmed his interest to play regularly at a top club.”
Chelsea manager,Jose Mourinho has time and again reiterated that he would love Cech to stay but also admitted he won’t stand in his way if the 32-year-old decides to leave Stamford Bridge. Giveme sport.com
