David de Gea thanks Manchester United fans for support

David de Gea
Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has thanked the club's fans for their support after yesterday's 1-1 draw with rivals Arsenal at Old Trafford.

The Spanish international, who has been linked with a move away from Manchester in recent months, left the field of play with 16 minutes remaining after picking up a late knock, and it now remains to be seen as to whether he will ever play at the Theatre of Dreams again.

There's no doubt about it, the link with Madrid has been growing of late, and it would no doubt come as a major blow to the club if they lost him in the upcoming window. De Gea, though, certainly knows that he's loved at United, as he claimed the fans are 'unbelievable', whilst he stated that he hopes his injury isn't too serious.

"Thank you very much indeed for your support. You're unbelievable. I hope the injury is not too serious. #MUFC."
