Pastor Creflo Dollar's congregation bless him with a private jet

Pastor Creflo Dollar
Just months after asking his congregation to contribute towards buying him a private jet, it seems Pastor Creflo Dollar’s supporters have granted him his wish.

According to the Huffington Post, Creflo Dollar is literally flying high after his church contributed towards buying him a $65million private jet.

In making his plea for the purchase of his luxurious jet to his congregation, the pastor said that he needed the plane so that he can "safely and swiftly share the Good News of the Gospel worldwide."

He then asked, on his website, 200 000 of his followers to donate at least $30 000 each in order to see him realise his wish.

Exactly three months later, the board of World Changers Church International (WCCI), also responsible for Creflo Dollar Ministries has announced that they are ready to purchase the jet, stating, in not so many words, that his plea has materialised.

"We plan to acquire a Gulfstream G650 because it is the best, and it is a reflection of the level of excellence at which this organization chooses to operate,” the board was quoted by HuffingtonPost.

"A long-range, high-speed, intercontinental jet aircraft is a tool that is necessary in order to fulfill the mission of the ministry."

Following uproar from the public on the news that the Creflo Dollar Ministry has requested its church to buy the pastor a jet with people saying that the church is scamming people, the WCCI maintained that the jet is a much needed mode of transport.

“We wholeheartedly reject the notion that the ministry’s airplane project is an imposition on our community or that it somehow takes advantage of our people,” WCCI was quoted on WashingtonPost.
