| Aisha Jummai Alhassan has emerged as Nigeria’s first female governor |
Reports credited to Vanguard Newspaper have it that Aisha Alhassan has been declared winner of the April 11 governorship election in Taraba state, thus making her Nigeria’s first female governor.
This was after a Taraba state governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja nullified the election of Governor Darius Ishaku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
