Jah Prayzah band members brawled recently after an argument. Backing vocalist Darlington Kamukono and Kudzai Tembo exchanged blows after a show at Extra Mile Leisure Centre.
Tembo crashed into Darlington’s car as he reversed, leading into an argument which escalated into a fight. Darlington is also said to have nicked Tembo’s wallet which had $80.
Darlington was arrested and charged with stealing and assaulting Tembo. The 28-year-old’s case was heard before Mbare magistrate Kudzai Zihove.
But Darlington was acquitted because there was no adequate evidence pertaining to the accusations that were laid against him by his fellow band member, Tembo.
The court also proved that there was no independent witness among all those who testified and Kudzai was making frantic efforts to silence his workmate, therefore he was found not guilty.
