A must Watch: Tuku opens up on music, love and family

The living legend Oliver Mtukudzi
Tuku was recently interviewed in Kenya about his childhood and his musical journey and the legend was as candid like we’ve never seen him before.

Tuku opened up about his failed first marriage saying he married someone he didn’t know and it’s one of his biggest mistakes.

He went on to advice young people to marry someone they know and who knows them as
well.Never get married to someone you don’t even understand, you always have problems in the future so I regret that, he said.

Another thing we found interesting was Tuku admitting that he has always wanted to be a mechanical engineer despite starting his music career as early as nine years old. He still hasn’t given up on his dream. You are never too old for education, he said.

Asked if his children are following his steps, like he always preaches, Tuku says God doesn’t duplicate talent, Sam was creating his own footsteps and Selma is creating her own footsteps.
