Fourteen people including a toddler have been killed in a crash involving a truck and a bakkie on the R101 outside Mokopane in Limpopo on Wednesday morning.
Three people were injured. Traffic spokesperson Kagiso Mootane says the bakkie which was transporting Zimbabwe nationals was travelling to Gauteng.
Traffic authorities say the driver of the bakkie lost control of his vehicle and veered into the opposite lane.
Fatigue is suspected to be the cause of the crash. The three injured passengers who have survived are being treated a local hospital.
All those who perished were travelling in a bakkie including the driver.
Earlier this week three people including a toddler were killed on the N1 between Mokopane and Polokwane.
