Floyd Mayweather, Conor McGregor Negotiating Deal For Boxing Match In Vegas

FLOYD
 Floyd Mayweather & Conor McGregor
It’s a nice pipe dream to have that a top MMA fighter would fight one of the top boxers in the world, but nobody realistically thinks it would ever happen.

On Friday, that dream may become a reality as reports state Floyd Mayweather & Conor McGregor are negotiating a deal to fight each other in Las Vegas.

Via The Sun:

“Both sides just have to agree on the purse and sign the paperwork — which sources say is imminent — and an announcement is likely to be made in the coming weeks.

A source told The Sun: “Floyd went mad after Conor said he would crush him and knock him out in 30 seconds, he’s obsessed with making Conor eat his words.

“Floyd is calling the shots. It’s strictly boxing and Conor will have to lose roughly 25lbs.

“It was agreed in principle on May 2, but Floyd wouldn’t reveal the identity of his opponent until last night when he told friends he’ll be fighting Conor.”

Per the report Friday, Mayweather is set to earn at least £100 million ($144.8 million), while McGregor will have to settle for £7 million ($10.1 million)

When Boxing and MMA clash. If true, this will shatter PPV records.
