A WOMAN was arrested after she was caught with groceries worth US$80 stashed in her hand bag at TM Supermarket in Mutoko on Thursday.
Margret Mudiwakure was caught on the fourth occasion after she went away with groceries stashed in her handbag leaving them with her colleague,” impeccable source told H-Metro.
Part of the loot included cooking oil, meat, apples, sugar, dried fish, bread, tomato sauce, powdered milk and rice. “The lady disclosed that she was using receipts for goods bought by others that would have been thrown away and on three occasions security by the door failed to ask for one from her,” said the source.
“If her luck had succeeded she could have filled a tuck shop with the grocery because it was well planned that is if the security manning the exit was not in the deal.
“She was taken to the police as shoppers were baying for her blood,” added the source.
