At least a hundred people were injured when two trains collided near Johannesburg’s Booysens train‚ ER24 paramedics said on Friday. Various emergency services were on the scene and people were being treated‚ mostly for minor injuries.
The accident happened between the Booysens and Crown Mines stations‚ according to reports. It appears that one of the trains was derailed.
The cause of the accident is still to be established.
