Kapfupi dumps third wife, neglects daughter

TOP comedian-cum-musician,Freddy “Kapfupi” Manjalima,has been accused of neglecting his third wife along with their two-year-old daughter.

It has been established that all has not been well between Kapfupi,39, Patience Chimbare,27. Patience said Kapfupi was neglecting them to the extent of refusing to acquire the child’s birth certificate.

“I have been in love with Kapfupi since 2010 and our love resulted in a child.

“He is the one who persuaded me to have unprotected se_x which resulted in this when I was focused on my studies.I wanted to go to a dress making school but my dream was shattered.

“He promised to take care of me along with the baby but he is not even bringing anything home for his daughter.

Izvezvi mwana haana kana birth,arikuramba kunomutoresa.Now I can’t even approach the courts to apply for maintainance because they need the birth as proof.

“I know for sure that Kapfupi holds a number of shows but he fails to bring even bath soap or porridge for his child.

“I feel used and betrayed because if it weren’t for his daughter,I could have been somewhere or someone in life,’she said.

Contacted for comment,Kapfupi confirmed being the child’s father but was surprised why she had taken the matter to the press.

“Yes,I am the father of the two-year old child and I am surprised why this woman came to you guys.

She should talk to me first and not run to the media,”I was working on something for the child but her actions shocked me.I am aware that the child needs a birth certificate and everything else.I will be responsible,”he said.

The Mai Nga singer,who last year was accused of dumping his first wife Margaret Gejo for Precious Kabrito (Mai Nga),said he was not spared by the financial challenges at the moment.

“I am aware of the child’s needs and that it is my duty to take care of her but a the moment things have not been well on my side,”he said.
