Tickets for award-winning Ugandan comedian Anne Kansiime’s show in Harare are now available.
She is coming to Zimbabwe for a show at 7Arts Theatre on November 14 and will share the stage with Zimbabwe’s finest comedians Carl Joshua Ncube and Doc Vikela.
The event is being organised by Extra Time Entertainment, which promised a good show.
Extra Time Entertainment spokesperson Tonderai Mwaita said they have finished all the required logistics and assured comedy-loving Zimbabweans of a memorable show with the queen of comedy.
“The show is on and Kansiime is coming to Zimbabwe. She will share the stage with Carl Joshua Ncube and Doc Vikela and this is going to be the best show for all the comedy-loving Zimbabweans considering that we have brought together exciting comedians,” said Mwaita.
Comedy lovers will have to part with $30 and $20 for the VIP and ordinary tickets respectively to watch the outstanding show.
“Tickets are now on sale and those who want to buy their tickets in advance can get them from Tech tools and Vera Mall and at Avondale shops” said Mwaita
Renowned for her short video satires on social media, Kansiime is on a successful 2015 and 2016 worldwide tour which has seen her amaze fans in Malawi, Namibia, Zambia, Kenya, Rwanda, Canada, Australia, UK, and South Africa
In a promotional video for the Zimbabwe Harare show, the ever comic Kansiime says: “If you are so happy waiting for me to come to Zimbabwe, how do you think I’m feeling? I can’t wait for the 14th of November to come to Zimbabwe, Harare, and make all of you wonder and laugh and laugh and laugh.”
At 28, the Ugandan stand-up comedian has won several awards including AIRTEL Women of Substance Awards 2014, BEFFTA 2013 (Best Comedian) winner, Lagos International Festival 2013 (Best Actress), Social Media Awards (Favourite Celebrity) winner and African Social Awards Malaysia (ASAM), 2013.
She was also nominated along with Zimbabwe’s own Samm Monro, (Cde Fatso) for the African Entertainment Awards to be held on October 31 in the US. During her Zimbabwe tour, Kansiime will visit the Victoria Falls and Pakare Paye Arts Centre in Norton as part of her familiarisation programme.
