Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries leader Walter Magaya’s church service at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Bulawayo drew hundreds of people as the charismatic prophet introduced a new range of “annointing oil.’”
The service was reportedly for Yadah TV partners. Yadah TV broadcasts Magaya’s sermons and PHD Ministries services.
Excited congregants ,comprising mostly families, could be seen standing outside Gate 3 waiting for a chance to go in for the service that was expected to run from 11am until 7pm.
Zimbabwe Republic Police officers were deployed to man the ZITF gates and ensure that there was no pandemonium or stampede.
Some people looked dejected as they were not allowed into the venue of the service for unknown reasons.
However, others were chatting excitedly about the powers of the charismatic prophet, seemingly patient and believing their opportunity would come.
Magaya’s healing sessions have won him a huge following in Zimbabwe and beyond.
According to a PHD Ministries live Tweeter feed, “All Yadah TV partners were being anointed with the new anointing packed with the overflow and abundant power for their deliverance.”
“We are witnessing the wonder working power of our Lord Jesus Christ as those that are bound by evil spirits are being set free for the glory of God Almighty,” the church said.
“Anointing oil is a physical symbolism of God’s healing and deliverance power. “It is a point of contact in spiritual warfare and is a symbol of the Holy Spirit.
“It protects from deadly dangers and traps, and it does the cleansing and purification. “It is the anointing of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit which is a powerful tool in spiritual warfare.”
“In PHD Ministries, the anointing oil is one of the major anointed mantles of the Ministry that has brought thousands of testimonies.”
Magaya’s church services in Harare are regularly attended by thousands of people who are attracted by the promise of miracles and financial breakthroughs.
