Eyewitnesses have described the horrific moment a lorry ploughed into a crowd of revellers celebrating Bastille Day this evening, killing an estimated 60 people.

An eyewitness said he saw the lorry driver slam his vehicle into a crowd of people watching the fireworks in the French resort city of Nice and then emerge shooting, killing even more bystanders.
In addition to an estimated 60 people dead, a further 150 are believed to have been injured in the incident, although both numbers are likely to rise.
