Rumour doing the rounds-from highly placed sources-is that Big Brother Lovers, Elikem Kumordzie and girlfriend Pokello Nare are finally husband and wife after Elikem’s entourage paid Lobola for the self-proclaimed Queen of Swagger in Harare yesterday.

Though details are still sketchy given how such functions are supposed to be discreet and so on, Pokello seemed to confirm the good news by posting a picture with Elikem captioned, “And the 2 shall become 1″ READ MORE AFTER THE CUT

Congratulations are pouring from all over and even here, despite our cat and mouse relationship, we would like to extend our congratulations too. Indeed this is a good thing.

Pokello and Elikem who met in Big Brother Africa have had a rocky relationship and it appears the couple have weathered the storm.

Many people had opined that the two’s relationship would crumble given that there were so many odds against them. Let’s see,  a bedroom with Stunner, the distance, the different cultures, Pokello being older than Elikem and being a single mother.

Then Elikem pulled a shocker, he  proposed live on television but then for whatever reason he started dragging his feet leading to speculation that the whole thing was a publicity stunt.

But it would appear Pokello was calm all along knowing all was well, then she taunted  haters when Elikem proposed saying :“Unobva washaya kuti vaya vanovenga vanovengerei. Wozonzwa zvichinzi mahure haaroorwi. Asi wozoona ring ichipfekedzwa wobva wazvishaya.” (You wonder why people hate on you. Some people say prostitutes do not get married and when you see that prostitute getting a ring, you wonder!).
