SOUTH African Afro pop-artiste Dan Tshanda has promised his fans in Harare a massive gig to remember this Saturday in his first performance in the capital in 18 years.

Tshanda, as Daniel Ndibiseni Tshandu is popularly known, takes his act to Harare this week after leaving thousands of his followers asking for more during an exhilarating performance at Hartsfield in Bulawayo last weekend.

The show is set for Pamuzinda Fire & Ice.

Sekunjalo Promotions and Investments director Dave Ncube — who is promoting the show — said everything was in place for the Saturday show.

“Like in Bulawayo, security is guaranteed. We had the most disciplined crowd in Bulawayo, there was no throwing of cans on stage and so forth because of tight security at the event,” Ncube said.

“There were people saying Tshanda is banned in Zimbabwe, yet that was not true. They saw for themselves that they had been sold a lie and he takes his act to Harare this week.”

Tshanda said all was set for the show and he was ready to stage a memorable gig in Harare.

“There was a lot of talk before the Saturday show in Bulawayo that I would not make it due to many reasons. I performed in Bulawayo before a massive appreciative crowd and I also promise my fans in Harare a good show,” hesaid.

Tshanda will share the stage with members from his stable, including Montana, Splash, Matshikos and Dalom Kids. Newsday
