He's sold over a hundred million albums and iconic crooner Lionel Richie has revealed he seduced women with the help of his best-selling record, Three Times A Lady.
Appearing on Piers Morgan: Life Stories; Lionel Richie, the 66-year-old was asked by the show's host if he had ever made love to his own music.
He replied: 'Absolutely not. You can’t even get into scandal with this. Let me tell you this, now wait, in the early days of Commodores maybe it was in the background.' Piers asked: 'Which particular song would you use?'
Lionel laughed: 'It would be ‘Three Times A Lady’. I’m no fool, because that was our first worldwide hit. Piers told him: 'You’re lasting legacy for the world is that you have played a formative part probably in every man’s romantic history for the last 50 years. You have basically helped us all get laid.'
Lionel giggled: 'Yes, but I wasn’t going to say it quite like that. But that is correct. Dailymail
